HOW LONG ARE LESSONS AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
All lessons are 2 hours long and includes all your equipment.
Our Wetsuits are winter weight that allow us to teach from March to September in all temperatures.
. We use soft boards in all our beginner courses and have hard boards that can be used at the end of 5 day courses and private lessons. Bringing your own equipment is fine but we will advise on the day which is best.
HOW MANY LESSONS WILL I NEED?
Our introduction beginner lesson is thorough, concise and fun. Its a good way to find out if you enjoy surfing. Most people will go on to do a 3 day course, which we advise as a minimum for those wanting to learn to surf.
WHAT WILL I NEED?
All you need is a towel and some swimwear. We provide all equipment and can advise you if you wish to get kitted out during your holiday, our surf shop is perfect for all your needs.
DO YOU HAVE CHANGING FACILITIES?
Our beach side facility has changing rooms, lockers, storage for valuables and showers.
DO WE HAVE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?
To Guarantee your spot please always book in advance.
At peak times of the year (July-Sep) we find ourselves booking up very fast.
Its not always possible to arrive at the beach and get a lesson that day. When planning your holiday we suggest booking lessons at the start to avoid disappointment.
Certain weeks are full already due to large school groups visiting.TERMS & CONDITIONS
We, SURFING WOOLACOMBE. are committed to protecting the privacy of anyone using our site and the confidentiality of any information that you will provide us with. The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use any personal information that we may obtain from you.

We are registered under the Data Protection Act and comply with the Act in all our dealings with your personal data.
Use And Collection Of Personal Data
In general you can visit our website without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself. If, however, you use our site you will need to register and you will be asked to provide certain information such as your contact details. We will store this data and hold it on computer or otherwise.
We may use information that you provide:
1. To register you with our website and to administer it
2. For assessment and analysis, e.g. marketing, customer and product analysis, to enable us to review, develop and improve our services.
Cookies
There is a technology called “cookies” which may be used by us to provide you with, for example, customised information from our website. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser which may then store it on your system. If you wish, you can usually adjust your browser so that your computer does not accept cookies. Please remember cookies do not contain confidential information such as your home address, telephone number or credit card details. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

We endeavour to take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose on-line and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.
General
You have the right to see personal data (as defined under the Data Protection Act) that we keep about you upon receipt of a written request and payment of £10.00. Any request should be sent to the address below...
SURF SCHOOL REFUND POLICY
SURFING WOOLACOMBE require 100% of the course cost when booking.
SURFING WOOLACOMBE have the right to cancel a persons place on the course if full payment is not received. Course reminders will not be sent.
Any cancellations or changes to your booking must be made in writing by post or by e-mail and will only be accepted from the date they are received by SURFING WOOLACOMBE.
Refunds for cancellations will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis. No refunds will be issued unless on compassionate grounds.
If a change of booking is required more than 21 days prior to the course, SURFING WOOLACOMBE. will make every effort to change the booking. Less than 21 days to the start, every effort will be made but we cannot guarantee spaces if they are not available.
In the case of sea-related conditions beyond SURFING WOOLACOMBE . control resulting in a course/lesson being cancelled, (Flat days, Fog, Dangerous sea conditions, Red Flag conditions). A session voucher/credit note will be issued which is valid for one year from the date of cancellation. No refunds will be issued.
The surf lesson voucher issued for a cancellation is valid for one year from the date of issue, and only applies to a surf session. It may not be exchanged or used to purchase items in the shop.
For all shop sales SURFING WOOLACOMBE will offer a refund only if the purchased item is faulty. Execpt in the case of hardware products, in which case warranty remains with the supplier. The suplier should be contacted for repair or replacement. in all other cases an exchange will be offered or a credit note will be issued. In both cases a proof of purchase must be shown within 28 days from original purchase.
There will be no refund or partial refund issued for any hire that is returned before the specified return time.
